November'19 Monthly Update - Great month for investments

November has been a great month for my investments. I have got one step closer towards my 5-to-5-in-12 challenge goals. And a big step at that. I was meeting 1.038% of my Rs.5 Crores goal in October. As of November, I have a total of Rs.5,86,490 and am meeting 1.172% of my goal. Net-net, in November’19, I have earned Rs.21,475 as passive income (apart from my monthly salary).

Not bad huh? Stocks have done well. As have Mutual funds and Alternate investments.

Enter Cashbacks – Towards Save Smart

With this month, I have also started reporting on my Cashbacks, Rewards and Points. This is no laughing matter. As of November’19, I have a total of Rs.41,666 in the forms of miles, cashbacks and reward points. This is liquid cash, just limited in the way I can use them.

I will continue reporting these out as well monthly. And, even better, I will also be writing more on how you too can make them and benefit from my knack for getting rewards!

Alternate Investments to get Passive Income

The other addition in this month is my report out of alternate investments. I have given out a loan of Rs.2,00,000 for which I get 15% p.a. And, in addition to this, I wanted to get some more passive income. I have now invested some of the returns I received from the loan into Sun exchange. You will see more details on this at the November’19 Alternate Investments report.

On a total investment of Rs.5,19,500 I have made a profit of Rs.21,475. At this rate and the additional Rs.24,500 I plug into my investments from the coming months, I feel confident of making it to 5-to-5-in-12. Let see!
